i wanna come down and ride at that track some weekend. that sand looks like fun.

Running the sand is HARD. In my opinion, if you are fast in the sand you can be fast in anything. It ruts up REALLY deep, plug you spend the next four years washing sand out of the bike, and you still never get it all out.

it was perfect saturday.. had just the right amount of water in it too...

the sugar sand in central florida is the real deal where guys like RC, bubba, and reedy trained on for years.

i agree that's why so many of the top mx riders come from FL. from what i hear, you basically have to be WFO all the time in the sugar sand to stay on top of it otherwise you sink in and youre done.

Come give it a try! Where you at this year?

sugar sand or that F-ing Coquina (sp?) like at Hard Rock. Both suck in their own special way.:lmao:

Hey Edwin, the only way for you to properly impersinate Bubba would be to limp of the track with a busted knee, broke arm or leave before you start to ride and complain that you had a Cold, Stomach Bug, the Flu......... or something..........

sorry, could not help myself..........

looking good.............

LOL, I was thinking Bubba for some reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh well!

I swear it's some sort of conspiracy.

It's really hard to find pics of Bubbles rubber side up on the internut.

especially when you consider how often he takes soil samples.

I think someone out there is suppressing the evidence.:sneaky:

i'm trying to get back up to speed!!!!! i'm nowhere right now!!!
Hey, neither am I but this race is too fun to miss. Besides, your riding in the dunes behind camp and in the surf in front. World-class events on both sides. If you ride dirtbikes and jetskis, there is no better event. Period.

oh trust me i know all about the sand. but the closest sand track around here shut down a few years ago so whatever.

There's only one way to ride sand. On The Gas! Sand is my favorite terrain. Pax Trax right north of daytona was pretty kick ass when I used to go down that way. I got out there one day with JSR...and homeboy was wailing. I could hang for like one lap, but dude was 100% stamina for like 30 minutes. Nothing bt roost flying. Sand wil drain you quick especially if you don't stay up on it. :thewave:

When we were in Mexico Pastrana told me there is a bad ass tack right next to where I work... He spends 3 months a year in Deland, the city where I work... small world.

Lots of tracks around here....
