Doesn't really matter if the bottom is rough, it only rides on probably about the last 1ft of the sponsons and last 1ft of the transom.

Anyone sand in the clear off a carbon ninja chin pad and remove the decals? I want to repaint but I don't want to be confined to the current design. Thanks.

Ski is back from paint. I got the pump and engine installed, might start turfing this weekend while I wait for my back ordered parts to arrive.

I'm not necessarily directing this at this thread or any particular hull but I'm not sure what people expect when they buy a hull. You give me a half million dollar boat and I'll pick it apart in a hour. That's just the nature of how things are manufactured in the marine industry. I'm not saying...

Aligned and installed the pump shoe using a ring that I machined to represent a compressed pump seal. Footholds installed Added some carbon to the rails Decided to go visual carbon on the rails instead of turf. The pics show the first coat of resin over the carbon.
