Pivot and mounting points are the same, but the base is a flat plate and I slotted the spring hole. Makes the bracket a little lighter, and MUCH easier to install. Got ya down.
It'll be within a couple weeks. I'm getting black and clear anodized. No plain ones this time. And just to reiterate in case I wasn't clear, these are version 2 hazard brackets. I'll get some pics up soon.
Hey guys, I'm running a little behind schedule, but I do FINALLY have the parts machined! Just need to get them cleaned up and anodized, but that shouldn't take long. Thanks for your patience everyone!
Hey all, for anyone interested, I am waiting on getting a new design of the brackets machined. I do not have a completion date for you but I hope to have something soon! Some of you have been waiting a really long time already. I do still have a list going and I will let everyone know in order...
I apologize if I haven't gotten back to anyone who has PM'd me about brackets. It's been a crazy summer! I'm pretty much out of the last batch, so I'm going to start another list for anyone who is interested and I'll get them out whenever I can. Thanks for your patience everyone!
That's what my crappy paintshop pic is referring to. Your spring is at a funny angle going through the bracket so it pushed out the bottom. I'm going to update the design on future brackets to have that area cut out further so people don't have to bend the spring. The spring pressure is going...
Yeah, I don't see that working well at all. Wonder how well those work with stock RN setups. You can see in the pics that the leg has already slipped out of the spring hole because it is too short. And I'm not sure what the other end pushes on, but the RN pole has a nice spring receptacle hole...
That looks like an aftermarket SN Spring. It should be a RN spring.
This is what it should look like:

I am using a blowsion spring. It will be a pain in the butt to put the thing together no matter what spring you use. Post a pic if you can and hopefully the true identity of your spring can be found.
