Ok, thanks for the explanation. I was kind of thinking of having them mounted vertically by adding an elbow to the front tube or somethin. Do they restrict airflow a lot? I am waiting to get the versiplugs shipped now, but just seein what other options are out there

Ya I typically pull it up on bunks, but just wondering how well the seal if I have it on a friends dock or somethin for a while.

Also, how well do the versiplugs seal? Will they take on water if I leave my ski in the water at the dock over night?
