I have the head off and all of the bolts out but cant get the cylinders off. Does anyone have any tips on removing them?

I just checked the compression it was 110psi for both cylinders. What should the compression be? Thanks

Thank you guys for all the suggestions. I have been super busy lately but will clean the carbs out soon and give an update. Does any one have any suggestions for the pisser pressure being so low?

I have a 1989 650sx with a sbn44 and a west coast pipe. I can get it started with the primer but It wont stay running unless I prime it. I have not run it in about 2 years so the carb may need to be cleaned to fix this problem. The second issue is that there is an oily substance that is coming...

Does anyone know the difference between a pre 1990 throttle cable and a post 1990 throttle cable for the 650sx? So far it seems like the only difference is $40... Any insight would be great. Thanks *Update* The L at the end is slightly different and may not work on a stock carb setup

I just put in a new mikuni 44 mm carb and now there is a light ticking noise when I ride. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be from? Thanks

I'm new here (as you can see from my post count) and I am also new to Standup Jetskiiing and freestyle. I just got a Kawasaki 650SX and after a few searches, I have heard some comments implying the fact that the older Kawi 650SX isn't very good. Is this true? Is this going to happen?:splatt:
