Looks like more great ideas for the x2!!!! Unfortunately I've already got myself into this make a dash cover with "stock" trim system idea so we will see how this turns out. The thing im worried about the most is if i get pissed at myself and really frustrated and rip the whole thing off.....LOL

i ended up just connecting the oil filler to the origonal hole and it works for me...ive also herd that there are rubber pvc caps that are tightened with a hose clamp that will work

So I think im going to attempt to shape the dash area from where the seat starts and then go up and line it up with the level of the hood. Ill post some pics of it if it ever works out... and could someone explain to me the positives and negatives of D cutting the rideplate Thanks!
