    One last thing…..lots of talk on venting hoods so here is mine. A box of 2 1/2" dry vac hose from Home Depot and a slightly smaller hole saw and I was set. Made the holes a little small so the hose is super tight. They slide in to gaps on either side of the kart tank. Seems good to me.

    So just an update on the pics above….I finished my build! It started and ran great right off the bat after I poured a little cocktail of Sonaco 110 and Yamalube in the tank. One problem though…….I couldn't turn the damn thing off!! Had to pull the plug wires. After some trouble shooting...
