no, no leaks in my ski, just tring to find a good vacumn on the ski, and wondering if a stock self bilge would be a good sorce of one.

my ski acually has the line from the bilge blocked off as soon as it gets past the firewall. i bought it that way, and it had a 500GPM bilge to replace it. i since them put a one way vlave in there along wiht the bilge

ok so there is always a constant vacumn running through that bilge as long as you are running WOT or at a resonable speed? so lets say that if you took the strainer and lifted it off the floor it would just suck air, no water would back up through the hose that is running from the pump...

ok, so it only creates a vacumn untill it fill the bilge with water. then once it reaches a certain point the vacumn stops and the water that was in the line flows back out creating a sifion (SP*).

i was wondering how the factory self bilges work(like on a SJ)? i know they get some sort of a vacumn to start them flowing, but im not exaclty sure how, because my ski didn't have one on it when i bought it. could someone enlighten me,.

what about that guy that put the scupper exit in where the pump is. does anyone know if that helped out at all with water leaking back into the engine compartment.

does it matter where you mount your side exaust, as long as its below the bond line? i was thinking in my next life or on my next ski putting a side exhaust below the bond line but almost all the way to the back of the engine compartment. that way maybe you wont eat as much exhaust. is that a...

i dont really think it has been stripped of ALL its good parts. there is deffently a lot more things that ski has to offer other then the impeller. but to each there own. i dont see how i am tring to maximize my profit when the impeller isn't being sold. it will be put on my next ski...

its not that i didn't know how to do it at all, i was looking for the best, easiest way to do it. that is all. they can ask all the potential questions they want, im not tring to screw anyone. removing the impeller was sotra like taking a b pipe off a ski b4 you sell it, its a good part...

because i can use it as a paper weight for the time being along with my freestyle cone. plus i heard these impellers are like $300 shipped brand new, why not keep it and give myself a reason to get another ski someday. :biggthumpup:

i got it, took some maps gas and and impact for 3 mins. then two wrenches and some body weight. thanks. not the impeller the whole jetski. i had to take my 13/15 concord off and replace it with my 14/19 supra that came on the ski when i bought it last year
