i am thinking of adding some floatation to the hood some how in case it dislodges. dont want it sinking to the bottom of the bay. also think i will add a strap of some kind to hold the hood on tight.

just started working on my octane by replacing the hood molding. There seems to be a big gap at the foot tray side of the hood, where the latch is. Looks like it is for the engine to breath. Is this normal? Looks like a lot of water would get in. dan

hey, thanks for the response buds. I am running a stock water box. I saw somewhere that one guy was running it with 3 turns open. That took me buy surprise. On my 750sx, i would run it with the top open about 3/4 for bottom end. Thanks again, Danno

hey buds, I have a stock 750 xi engine. dual stock carbs. Whats the hot low end set up for the water injection srews? I have a blaster limited pipe. Right now, i have the top open 3/4 turn, and the other closed. thx, Danno

Getting close to finishing my 750 install. When i try to hook the battery up to the starter wires, the starter turns over like i am hitting the starter button. I am not sure if the starter is bad, or i have spliced the 750 electrical box in wrong. I think the engine came from 750 dual carbed...

i have most of the parts for this 650 conversion if anyone needs them. I am going the sj pump route instead. 650sx pump,reduction nozzel,steering nozzel,cap,short shaft. hull bearing. everything but the long shaft. $75 plus shipping. All in good shape.

i would like to convert to a bigger pump in my FX1. I know the superjet pump will work but not sure of a 97 waveraider 700cc.
