My 650sx recently started to bog down and loose all power when I let the back of the ski sink down into the water standing it strait up and down? My X2 never used to do it but started doing the same thing last year. Once you hold it wide open and let it clean out on for a bit it runs perfectly...

I could be your stator, sounds like then exact same thing my x2 started doing last week and now won't start at all. Going to pull the flywheel cover off tomaro and see what the stator looks like. I let you know what I find out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We were thinking about that also, we just know our way around a Kawasaki power plant pretty well

This is our current Kawasaki 1987 300sx custom hull project. Doing a flat deck with a kick plate and foot straps, custom nose, handle pole, chopped hood, and also doing a motor swap to a Suzuki 640cc motor or a Kawasaki 650cc motor. Anyone got any thoughts or suggestions?

It turns fine when the pole is all the way down but once I raise it up and try turning I barely get any movement from the pump nozzle

After you made your own pole and rode it, was the steering iffy? I made my own pole and it doesn't work the greatest

It didn't really seem to change the way it rode at all but it did help out when trying to submarine since I cut the lip off The front and rounded it more. I got the weight pretty even too from how much I cut off of the nose originally then fiber glasses over it too what it is not

Yes just widened on one side, to slide over stock nozzle and bolted on
