I'm having constant stator issues (no spark) with both of my 750 ignition systems. one is all stock 1995 750 sxi, the other is 1987 850 swapped X-2 running a 1995 sxi ignition with timing advance plate. both eat through stators in 2-10 hours of ride time. i have tried both OEM stators and...
what do u think about the duel fuel pumps? should i drill out the mag carb return and delete the second pump or tap a new/second pulse nipple into the case so i can keep both pumps?
....nah, I think ill just clean the one and leave the other one like poop....it adds character *sarcasm

The stock linkage looks like it will work just fine... they were a linked pair when i got them. when i put them on my kawie manifold with the rhaas adapter plate the are spaced apart about the same as the oem yamaha mounting plate. Am i gonna run into something i need to know about? worst case...

kinda stupid question, but if i went off the stock sxr 40 mm dual jetting but bumped it up one or two sizes for the dual 44's, pipe, and bore would that be an okay start? or will it be totally different from the stock sxr 40's?
