Thanks for the comments! At the moment it's looking unlikely. I am flat out with production and everything needs to be perfect before it leaves my shop, so don't want to rush anything!

Aluminium is really the only option for parts like engine mountings when you weigh it up. For inserts we have our own brass made inserts for pump mountings very similar to standard OEM Yamaha Superjet, so you have your choice there if you wanted to switch to brass. Anodising the aluminium...

We have looked into this extensively before we began. Our prototype has been out in the sun almost all day, every day of summer (one of the hottest summers on record here) to give it more than a lifetimes sun exposure, with absolutely no discolouring. Everything we are making is post cured...

The last 3 pictures I just posted of the top deck out of the mould has no clear coat or gel. That was as soon as I took it out the mould on Sunday night. It will later be polished once it is all assembled and before delivery. Gel coat or clear coat has always been problematic on freestyle skis...
