Yeah in the past 6 months all there has been is 2 non running piece of crap 440's for $850 and basicaly all I need is a hull! Hopefully one will come across!
Sounds like a sweet build. I have been watching for a 440/550 for the last 6 months and havn't found one for the right price. But When I do find one I will be doing the same thing as you with all my old x2 running gear.
Post a ton a pictures!! Sounds like a very sweet project
I just got the new gopro 2 for christmas and my friend has the hd scentific one. I would save the money and get a go pro any day of the week. The go pro has great mounts and in my opinion it is alot more durable and Its seams to be more quality than the other one.
Reed boosters are just going to give you more throttle responce. I personaly think they are worth doing once you do your major Mods like sbn 44, pipe, prop. Once you have those I would suggest getting boosters if you just want to get the extra edge on your power.
i would run dual's since they are 38's. You just got to take it out to lake or ocean and tune them. you want to start with jets, once you get your jets correct then move to the tuning needles. but just make you have the same adjustments on both carbs.
I have heard of the coils but I have never...
I don't agree with the yearly fee, Back when I got in to the sport I came across this forum and like the lay out and how easy the info was to find minus the search feature but If there was a yearly charge I would of never joined the cite in the first place. My point is new people that come...
Honestly I think a single 44 is mostlikly enough for a 650 but if you have some good mods I would put them on there and try them out. It never hirts to try!
yeah Every thing fits perfect but I just have to run the 650 westcoast manifold with the pipe so the head pipe dont hit the side of the hull. But I need to find someone to bore my manifold out! I cant find anyone local for decent price. If anyone knows of any one or can do it them self let me know!
This is a picture from when I started the build. The tank is 2 to 3 gallon tank. It fits the curves of the ski perfect. My friend is holding it up about 6 inches in the picture but I will make a foam mount that let it set lower.
I was out at my local salvage yard getting some stuff for my truck, then I found a huge riding lawn mower section. I think I took it out of a old snapper riding mower. Yeah I lucked out with it. It is perfect shape and size for my build.
There have been quite a few guys that have done what your...
Just a update... I finished the carbon fiber last night and it looks amazing. I am going down to work on it thursday and friday after school and I am hoping to have it ready to glaze by next week. from there after the glaze is sanded down and smoothed then it will be ready for primer. I am...
