I bought my fx1 2 months ago and the hood seal looked original, cracked in a bunch of spots. So I removed the seal and look what I found. Is this repairable or am i screwed. Any help would be great.

Yup, I think I'm going to just ride the hell out of it. The tray mod looks time consuming and I only got 1 ski. Thanks a bunch guys. I'll just invest in a wet suit for the colder months and keep riding. Do any of you guys wear helmets when you ride? I can see how you can crack your melon riding...

What is needed to widen the tray? This sounds like a good idea. How do I go about doing it?

It has 2 bilge pumps 1 on each side. I don't know why there are those extra holes, ??? At least they are plugged up.

Yeah, I hear a lot of riders love the fx1. I'll just keep riding it. But I know down the road. I would like a ski with a wider tray. Ss for future plans. Would the fx1 be a good doner for a aftermarket hull swap?
