Finally got it. I had to go around in circles applying over 50lbs of force to gradually squeeze it in. At least I know that SOB isn't coming out anytime soon.

Trying to finally finish this pump rebuild, and I can't get the new impeller seal to fit into the impeller. I was going to try using a screwdriver to push the little lip inside the impeller, but I worry about tearing it.

I need to cut back my plug wires, and they have crimp-on terminals. I can't find them at any of the usual auto parts stores. Is there anyone that sells just the terminals without new boots?

Any plans for a freestyle clinic so that some of us can suck less at riding?

I've got my skis covered for the winter, but I noticed some water got into the Blaster's footwells and froze last night. Will it damage the turf if water soaks into it and freezes? I'm a bit worried about it breaking open the cells in the foam as it expands.

That's what a fountain is for. Much more effective that a 2lb extinguisher against a large fire.

I did a trip 15 miles each way on the SJ. Rode to Southport on the NC coast, got lunch, refueled, and went back to Holden Beach. Lots of jumping and messing around on the trip. Had a friend on a couch carry a few gallons fuel for me.

Was planning on going, but I changed jobs a month ago and I can't get the time off. This is three years in a row of not being able to go at the last minute...

I was in Venice for the last year. I failed many times in trying to explain to watercops the concept of headway speed.

Everywhere I've been in Florida, the watercops seem to target standups. At Sarasota I got hassled for going over 5mph in a no-wake zone as a guy on a couch was blasting by me at WOT.

Thanks, but I think I'll switch to a 701 CDI. I figure the Blaster's ready for an ignition upgrade, so I might get the MSD for her and swap that stock one into the SJ.

Turns out it was the CDI. Swapped in the one from my Blaster and she fired right up. Thanks Mike. It looks like I can clean up the box and reseal it with silicone. Riva wants $360 for a new CDI though. Makes me wish it was the coil. Can I trust a used one?
