my manifold looks ok, its the headpipe that has me concerned, I even got the ATP p.v. spacer but it doesn't come with the bolts you need and I dont know where to source longer ones in stainless.
Anyone have issue with p.v. clearance when using a b-pipe? Mine isn't together yet, but just looking at it, it looks as if the rear P.V. may not be able to reach full travel. Trying to get my motor drop in ready this weekend, any suggestions or words of advice on install?
Gotcha, any idea on the fuel line routing? This is the first time I've had dual carbs this big. My jetmaniac 38's were run tandem with the one return feeding the second carb. I don't know if that will be enough flow for these in that configuration.
Both Ed and I are running RRP steering on the same adjustable pole with great results, easy mod to do on that combo. Riser bars are awesome on rid ability on these hulls.
The kind I used was oracal 951, absolute nightmare, maybe next year I'll get it done up right, and yeah it kind of sucked to wrap almost 700 and some change up in that material and the paint protectant/ clear bra I was going to use on the ski to keep it from getting scuffed up. Looks like a...
Any one care to share a good fuel and cooling line setup for this, my skins going back together next weekend and am wondering what you guys are doing for fuel line and cooling line set ups.
Mine is a 850ss, using 46mm Blackjack carbs, I have a flow control valve. And dual cooling from the pump...
Yep too tall evidently, I have no personal experience though, just what I've heard. Im a bit nervous even with putting a PV spacer on my b-pipe making it too tall to seal the hood well. Looks like the cold fusion hood seal that I've gotten for the upcoming year is hands down a way better fit on...
Completely unrelated to anything, but I got the wild idea to try and vinyl wrap my freak this year, it was the worst idea I've ever had. Too many curves, we wasted hours of the day today to even get a reasonably acceptable end product, unsuccessfully. I had high hopes for the aesthetics of my...
Looking to make a design in my turf this year and didn't want to spring for a whole sheet. Anyone? I can paypal immediately, just let me know what you want for it.
Well for what it's worth it actually gets better when you get used to some of the nuances of the hull, I've attempted and am getting close to landing some tricks I had only dreamed of pulling off, and to be honest maybe never have attempted if I hadn't stepped up from my old RN hull. My freak is...
In case anyone is wondering OEM manufacturers are largely getting out of standup market, it seems to me like some established AM hull builders are attempting to corner the market on future purchases of hulls by discouraging others from even getting going. And though I am certain that, even...
We dont live in a free market system, small businesses with original ideas are squashed with regularity by larger companies who buy off politicians. Small mom and pop stores are crushed by the buying power of Walmart who sources everything from China's sweatshops at ridiculously low rates...
for what its worth how many people have and are asking about dimensions to copy Kenny Keepers instead of buying them etc.. there a lot of copycatting going on. although it may not be an apples to apples comparison because no one else is putting blowsion logos on them and trying to pass them off...
I agree 100 percent with you. Our business, family owned has not only survived the recession but are expanding and hiring. and a large part of it is customer service, which I excell at. doesn't mean I like it but its my job and I do it with a smile. Many other shops in my area have techs...
There has been alot of bickering, sometimes low blows, and a whole lot of venting of frustrations etc.. going on in this thread. The good news is: things are out in the open. We are airing our grievances and expressing our concerns. I am in no way shape or form a distributor of parts, I am a...
