I had this problem at a freeride. Turned out I broke all 4 motor mounts and the motor slid back of the coupler. Can you rock the engine?

Be sure that you use a good primer like the Chromate Free Epoxy Primer and a good paint like one of these pearl basecoats. When you clear, and you should, use a high quality clear like UC-35 because of its hardness and UV protection for your color.
