    "NEW" Kawi SX-X 160

If they made a small beginner class ski though with a small motor that should pass no? I can see the point of the float test, and maybe the new standards of it require the hull to have a positive buoyancy vs. how the 2-stroke SuperJet would float but just barely bobbing at the surface. I saw a...

    "NEW" Kawi SX-X 160

Yeah but you know how it works, if there's real promise with the patents, someone else will make a slight change to it, pick up the rest and make it their own. Kawi showed enough interest to put their name on it so that says something about where the tech is at or where it's going.

    "NEW" Kawi SX-X 160

I'm still waiting for a reasonable answer as to why they chose to create a standup yacht. The whole point of a standup was to be small, light, challenging to learn but extremely fun learning. I started out on a rental 440 with zero experience and loved it so much I became the most common regular...

    Jet ski winterization prices ?

And that's why you're giving them an amazing price. For anyone else I would be thinking at least $180 plus supplies and as always, a stipulation of the ski must run reliably every time you try to start it or it's an automatic $60 fuel charge for wasting your time.

    Jet ski winterization prices ?

Reasonable? You're practically a saint my friend =) Up here in Canadaland to do a I charge $250+ supplies for on site service only. I have nowhere to have skis dropped off at home so all my work is done on site. I refuse to do mechanical repairs though because the amount of back n forth trips...

    Buying Older Skis, need advice

The 92+ Kawi 650sx can usually be had for a pretty low price and there's a fair bit of free mod work you can do to really improve it. There are also a fair number of light expense mods you can do to further improve it. The only downside to Kawi that I personally have seen is parts support. Those...

I had custom registration decals made

The reg numbers look great, I wish we could put some style on our numbers. Up here though the law says the reg numbers have to be a contrast color from the hull color and can't be overlaid onto graphics for legibility purposes, and they have to be at least 2 inches tall. It definitely makes...

    Super Jet Sponsons

Also, I just checked my old build thread where I tried lots of things, experimented lots and reversed decisions later on...page 5, post 88 is where I started figuring out my Tom21 sponsons install. Maybe something in there will give you ideas, maybe not but have a look. I think I did document...

    Super Jet Sponsons

Having never glassed sponsons on I can only guess at the better methods but you can use some 5200 just to hold them in place while you glass over them, and by glassing over them I mean fully covering them. Edge glassing I don't think would hold up well. If it were me, I would be going with the...
