Probably was a 6 or 8mm with 132 ktm or rad rods and a .125 or .060” baseplate if it had round tops. If it had flats could of been 8mm with 132 ktm/rad rods or Kawasaki rods (Suzuki tiger shark). either way it was more than likely for a 6mm or 8mm probably
Since with 8mm it comes out timing...
Worx 228 is best all around and will give good top speed. 201 will scrub up to 2mph off on glass. But if riding rough water, surf or max bite/stuff 201 works well. If you asking because you can get an old 201 cheap then do it. You can also cut an old 201 to be like a 205/228.
Check eBay on cases. Many mint ones lately in 125-150 range
there is a set right now for exactly $125 shipped (actually many to choose from). No cracks
SRE. Scott Randle Engineering. Spelling Maybe wrong. I think he made heads too? Maybe under East Coast Performance Products. Like WPP but EPP I tried these 20+ years ago
I recently did a standard modified b pipe ,reeds, head, ignition mod superjet for a buddy with oem760 44’s (drilled out and passage filled) and we ended up at 85 and it was a world better than oem.
Pm me your address and I’ll put these in the mail. Not unless your in Oakland county and want to pickup
I would just recommend sanding with 400+ on a flat surface. To clean up
Give me a few. I just removed 19’s from a set of 38’s. If I didn’t throw them away you can have them
Note:
15’s are for Mikuni oem 38’s with 3 low speed holes (Aftermarket Mikuni carbs)
19’s are for Mikuni Yamaha twin 38’s. They only have 2 low speed holes (all 701’s with twins)
You could purchase 26cc domes for that head back in day. 23cc was standard superstock size.
what is your psi with valves open? If it’s around 195 psi your setup is standard.
domes are flat top or Kawasaki squish. Those piston crowns are Kawasaki style
