Also how much resin/hardener do you think I'll need to do my footholds?

I appreciate the advice more than you know. It's been hard getting a straight up answer. Are you mixing the resin to hardener at a 1:1 ratio? Can you change that to attain a slower set time or does it need to be a constant ratio? Do the UScomposite kits come with directions at all? I have maybe...

Are you talking about putting a chamfer on the bottom edge of the turf wherever it meets a part of the hull? I'm not sure I understand what you mean correctly

Thank you for the tips. Do you use that same type of epoxy resin that you use to actually glass the footholds in with a thickener such as the stuff from UScomposites or corn starch or something to glue in the holds and hold them with screws before the actually glossing takes place?

    Superjet Build

It's all going to be done within a week or two of each other. I ordered footholds from Toby and an impros hooker impeller. Waiting to get my cylinders back for my other superjet and then I'll order the B pipe.

You're talking about cutting the fiberglass on the foothold and then reglassing it?

So I send Toby a pm and I am going to order a set from him. How did you go about turfing them? I've never turfed footholds before. Also did yours hit the exhaust tube on the right side?

Thanks for the reply. Do you have a picture of both perhaps? The tom21 ones looked really comfortable that's why I was attracted to them.

    Superjet Build

So here's the short rundown. Drove to Michigan from Georgia to buy a well priced 96 superjet with widened tray (well-priced sort of...) rode it for a couple minutes and the front cylinder dropped. It was claimed to have a fresh engine rebuild. My mistake for trusting anyone. So out of anger I...

    SXR bottom-mid range power mods

I'm a descent welder and a training machinist. I've heard about this problem and I think i have a solution. I'll machine new mounts for the pipe that connect it to the cylinder head to disperse the weight over three cylinder head bolts instead of two. that should solve that problem just fine...

You're not thread jacking a bit bud. I have the same questions haha. What fuel are you having to run with that igntion?

    SXR bottom-mid range power mods

Stock impeller. I most likely won't be trading this pipe. I like its design more coming from a strong motocross background I don't like the tuneable pipe idea. Has anyone put an 80mm 750SX nozzle on the SXR? Is it an easy swap?

I figured out the problem guys. Thank you all for your input. I won't go into details but a summary of it is that I'm an idiot and now it runs great

    SXR bottom-mid range power mods

So far I have a factory dry pipe, tornado filters, and 6 degree timing advance (just the temp bypass) for my 05 SXR. I would like more bottom to mid range power. I'm not too concerned with top end power as I just like to free ride and jump waves. What would be a good next step without modifying...

I'm about to check my pop off pressure. What psi should I be looking for?
