Correct me if I'm wrong but if you want the pipe hotter you would want to restrict the dump fitting on the end of the pipe. In which would create more pressure that would want to go thru the flow valve and into the water box so you would want to significantly reduce the jet size to dry it out...
havent run it yet . modified to fit in my q8 . and upon opening it up found that.
my q8 has now been sold so wont know till spring. but it sure cant be worst..
In original form I don't see why pf even added that second 1 inch tube if they were planning blocking it with the inlet tube. Almost completely blocking it off. This to me helps explain why they look like footballs after a backfire. All that pressure going thru one 1 inch tube.
In my box I cut...
x2 on what matt said . hard to tell if your setup wake is good from the video but it looks like its there. if you pause around .11 or .12 seconds your close to riding up the setup wake but still way infront of it to me . need to pop off the wave more .
looking good tho..... practice practice...
When I cut my pfp waterbox open to reduce its size (fit in my q8).
There are 2 one inch pipes vertical one of which is covered 90% by the inlet pipe. Not very good for flow. Lets have everything run thru just one 1" pipe and out 2.5"
No doubt he's a great guy and I know he's always super busy cuz he builds the best motors. He did wonders to my big bore kawi 850 . That's why I sent him my Dasa cylinder. Hopefully he'll get back to me soon
Yea . I don't get it .
It's strange bc when other ppl can't get a hold of him it seems like I always can. But now it's Been like 3 weeks.
He said my motor was done a month ago and just was copying it to my buddies cylinder. Can't take that long.
I've been trying to get a hold of him for 3 weeks now. Multiple calls to all 3 numbers. Voicemails.
He's got mine and a buddy's kawi Dasa 1000 trying to figure out if we're ever gonna see them again
Send a pm to Papp on here. He will make you a full carbon Papp plug. Same idea as a Versa plug but 3x the size hole and completely outta carbon . No more PVC not bonding :-):-):-):-)
ive always gone overboard 36 with some red loctite. never ever had a leak or problem loosening up.
but i have inserts in my manifold. not the crap how it comes
why do i get the feeling we are lightyears behind them in the motor and pump department. hookup and power. let alone throttle response to do those off idle flatspins? sick video ...
i think most of us would look like the jolly green gaint on that hull
