I do a lot of river riding and wanted a impeller for just that. Which is the 11/16. I for now have a solas 14/19 650 impeller I will be installing. From what I heard the pump cone makes a pretty good difference. You just need to run a big hub impeller for it.
I talked to dave @ impros and he recommended a 11/16 hooker with the pump cone, but that impeller may be more than what you are looking to spend. My setup is similar to yours.
I know it is a long shot but there has to be a few octanes parted out? I think the title pretty much describes what I am talking about. I'm looking for one for a project that I am doing. I will pay fair change if someone has one.
anything would be appreciated.
Yes, you cannot be the gas milage and reliablity. I found that the biggest pain is the loudness...
I am fixing this with a a coffmans resonater added after the waterbox...
the stock pipe (mod) works well with the 550/650 setup
I should say though that I was running a ocean pro reduction and steering nozzle. Your 18p prop is probably perfect for the conversion...
installing a reduction nozzle is like installing a higher pitch prop
A 650 motor does not produce the revs like the 440/550 motors do. The 650 is much...
do the 550/650 conversion... its the best thing that could happen to you and the 440/550 hull
I run a 17p prop on mine and did not have any cavitation problems
I have read up about this quite a bit and th 550 pump is the better pump for this application
