Thanks for the suggestions. I don't have access to a punch to punch them. Also, I thought about aluminum but it corrodes too easily in salt. The new settings have proven successful thus far, even in salt. If they continue to prove successful I will start marking them again at the end of April.

You shouldn't have to pay sales tax on a used car. The first buyer's taxation should be enough. If that car is sold every year for 20 years the government will bring in more on taxes than the original cost of the car. How is that fair?
