i know there are a few threads on this but after reading 32 pages on the tank I got to post. I'm away from my ski being built and the tank so I can't measure and want to put a straps order in with 701ind before the days over to get the free shipping... Anyone have exact strap length required...
Ski looks amazing! Glad to see how clean it came out. Let's me see the potential for mine but also depresses me because I'm so far behind... My 3 day old daughter is slowing things down even more for me. I think my ski had the same mom different dad.

With a 2k budget your likely stuck with a square nose 701, this is still a huge upgrade over your current ski though. I've bought 2 96 RN Superjets for 2k in the past 5 years, each which were both stock. 2k for a RN is a hell of a deal/steal and an extremely rare find. Also take into account...
Can't provide performance input, but as a buyer I'm interested in a complete pipe for my winter build as I like the design/tech behind the waterbox as well. However, due to the size it is highly unlikely it will fit in my hull. Any possibility of keeping the same design in a smaller footprint...
Not mine, but I bought a big engine and builder told me I would need more air. Saw this for sale on pwctoday with modifies hood for breathing.

Pulled the trigger on a Tom21 fixed fixed steer hood for my 07 RN. Should be here in the next week or 2. In the meantime looking for some input on what kind of steering systems you guys recommend as well as what kinds of bars everyone is running. Want to get parts ordering so I can get it...
No engine removal, you just swap out the stock intake manifold with reeds/cages and carb. Yeah, the Kraze had the same 61x engine but also came with a west coast pipe on it too giving it a little extra umph compared to the Yamaha stock exhuast.
