I have the matte black version, light weight and pretty durable. Ski landed on my head one time when trying to learn rolls, little headache and a mark on the helmet but it did its job! My visor was gone after a few roll attempts, ripped right off...thought that may happen at some point though...
Bilge is easy to do, hit up ocdsolutions on here he has a nice kit to make bilge install easy and with clean wiring...also don't take out your stock siphon bilge, whats wrong with it?
I would just ask Jetmaniac since its his motor.... I am switching to a 10/16 at the end of the season on my engine, had a 9/15 which was working great on just a B pipe but with fully ported 701, 44mm carbs and increased compression it just doesn't seem to cut it...my 2 cents..
Wouldn't you need to just buy another SJ to swap back? Also don't you have your stock parts anymore? Also curious whats blowing up or not working with your aftermarket setup?
