Sent them a message. OCD can not and has never been able in I test the Msd brains.

Agreed. Guy from technical support first said they could test but not repair. Asked what issue was, so I told him my symptoms. He talked to repair people came back on and said he was sorry for mis speaking but they can no longer even test that module.

I did not know that. I know they have released a flywheel to work with the Msd. Not sure how recent that was but maybe that’s a good sign

Just spoke with MSD tech. They can no longer test the box.

Bun freestyle is supposed to be making a brain for the MSD

It’s from a reputable source. They already have a flywheel available for Msd

Ski will start, it dies when i rev over 3/4ish throttle. So bypassing triggers to test for spark won’t help much. Have triggers coming. Replacing those, deleting brand new shifty And going through wiring. If it still acts up, I plan to get in touch with MSD

Grounds and power measure .1 ohms Disconnected start/stop switch, Still dies when reving. If ski shuts down. Msd light is off, if I choke ski to stall Msd flashes 1 flash per second. One pickup measures .7 ohms other pickup measures 1.3-1.6 ohms. Checked again hot after ski started...

I will be checking so more stuff tonight along with disconnecting the start/stop switch to verify it is not the cause. Battery seems to be good but have not tried a different one.

Looking for a MSD 42351 brain. Mine is acting up. Anyone have a brain or whole system they are willing to part with

Yeah that would be nice! I saw a post that mentioned Lee Stone may be making a replacement. I’m going to shoot him a message but not sure if there is any truth to this.
