Used Kawi 95 sxi stock carbs

I have a set of kawi stock carbs for sale. They came off a 95 sxi but will fit other skis. The ski was running great when they came off but have been in a box for a few years so a rebuild might be a good idea. $50 + shipping. Email if interested. Clayne100@gmail.com Sent from my iPhone using...

    Loading toy hauler?

Looks about the same size inside as my toy hauler. Here is a picture of the trailer that I would load in mine. I chopped 18" out of the center of the trailer to make one that was 82" wide overall. If you are only hauling standups, you could with a smaller trailer.

    Loading toy hauler?

For years I put a custom narrowed shorelander trailer in my 30' toy hauler. It had a seadoo XPL and 750 sxi on it. Not super heavy but not super light. To get it in and out, I built a two wheeled truck with a ball and boat trailer winch on it. I had an anchor at the front of the trailer I hooked...

sunk my brand new 2015 WDK rip...she gone

Cord does not float. If it goes under and I cannot get another boat/ski there, I will just clip my life jacket to it and swim for the shore.

sunk my brand new 2015 WDK rip...she gone

Kevlar cord from amazon. $40 Mesh Stuff Sack from some backpacking gear that I was not using. Lots of videos on line how to stuff a rescue or throw bag. Simple cord anchors keep and zip ties it in place. I just got a little clip and attach it to my SS loop for the limit rope.

sunk my brand new 2015 WDK rip...she gone

I put 100' of 3mm Kevlar line (800 lb test) in a stuff sack in my dvx. Tie one end to the engine bed plate and the other end up the handle pole to a clip under the handle pole. If it sinks, unclip the free end of the rope and you have a leash back to the ski. From a boat, you have a good chance...

Custom/Hybrid How to make a crate?

I screwed the bottom layer together upside down before the feet were on. The 2x2s on the sides were screwed to the plywood only. A plywood cube is a lot stronger than a 2x2 wood frame so their only job was to hold the plywood corners together.

Custom/Hybrid How to make a crate?

I made this last winter. It might give you some inspiration.

Other How to test carb spring weight?

Anyone know how to test carb spring weight? I don't think color is as reliable as it once was. IE a 95 gram spring. Is that the weight of the spring or the spring force at a set compressed length? Thanks.

Jetting question. What controls idle to 1/8 throttle?

Is there an easy way to tell if my pilot is the right size? Seems like I remember reading something about turning the low speed screw in while the ski is idling until it dies. Then just back out from there. My setup is PHP898, TL, PFP, race gas, 48 Novi. It is setup per Zack's specs. 2.5...

The "Where do all these parts go" DVX build

So after months of blood, sweat, and tears. Here she is.

The "Where do all these parts go" DVX build

Time to wrap up the build thread. The only think I had left was turf and after a few days, a few beers, and a few curses, that is done too. I went with heavy foam on the bottom and in the footholds. If I had it to do over again, I would go thinner. The extra padding is not really...

Jetting question. What controls idle to 1/8 throttle?

What controls the jetting idle to 1/8 throttle? Is it pilot jet or pop-off or the low speed screw? I am a little rich when lugging around in between failed tricks. Thanks.

The "Where do all these parts go" DVX build

Catching up on progress to report. Engine, Pipe, Waterbox all went in without a hitch. Minimal shimming and block adjusting. One thing worth pointing out is my twist on the retriever concept. I love the idea of having a retriever for any ski with a scupper but hated strapping a cord bag to...

    Footholds and heel heel blocks.

So not tight? What about toe movement sideways? Or does just the heel need to be managed?

    Footholds and heel heel blocks.

How tight are footholds with heel blocks? Are you still kicking in just above them or is it more of a slip in and then down? Then the block holds your foot in. Thanks.

The "Where do all these parts go" DVX build

Yes for a third cooling line. But that was not my problem child outlet. It was one in the stator. Do you see a problem with picking up a third line off the nozzle?

That was my plan when I mocked it up but pull the trim and the nozzle goes high and right. It really needs to be on top.

Is there an easy way to confirm coil A in MSD TL?

Will it generate a spark rotating by hand? If so, I could match coil spark with cylinder then.
