Don't know about the Pro-tec pipe, but with a b-pipe i run my 46 with 120 low, 140 high, and 12lbs of pop-off.

Make sure the shoe is centered in the intake tunnel and that the pump is centered in the pump box. Use the tip of the pump cone as a reference point and measure from side to side. Also, using the pump cone for rerference, measure the height from the surface of the pump box up to the pump cone...

Ditto........it sounds like the rubber nose cone off the prop. The stock SXR cones come off pretty easy and usually work their way up the driveshaft.
