Use masking tape for a cheap alternative to the fancy stuff the composites places sell. It falls off when you get good resin content and a nice easy way to mark where your cuts are. I'll look for the name brand

I buy the chrome 8" shears for around $8 and toss them every couple builds. No sense on expensive ones when the dull out you just toss these. Then if you get resin on them it's ok, they wipe down easy and are more durable than a plastic handle...
