Thursday - Sunday looking for a ride to Orlando airport (MCO) Sunday evening.

Trying to see if I can fly in. Would arrive Friday around 11:00 AM. Would like to catch a ride with someone...if possible. If not, there's a shuttle. Can you give an old fat Penguin a ride? TIA

as far as I know - I have an "original" Thrust Innovations trim system (without the pully) - is that the EZ Pull?

I want to get my SJ back in the water and need a few parts: ADA o-ring kit, fuel lines, plugs, flywheel cover gasket who's the best to order from that will ship ASAP? I tried Thrust because I need a trim cable too, but he's not responding to emails and his voicemail is full. Thanks!

Well it's been a long time coming, and the floor plan has changed more times than I care to count...but it's finally under way.

not necessarily lack of back pressure. lack of oxygen. engine compartment fills with exhaust, and exhaust starts going back into engine. It won't ignite fuel, so engine dies. you pull off hood and everything seems to work fine. try riding it without hood, in the water and see if it dies...

well maybe I wasn't wrong after all. that's good, cause I'm never wrong. I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

I swear I read it 3 times and said "suck" every time. really, it did! oh well...never mind.

how much is your quality of life worth? immeasurable in my book.

haven't had a meaningful raise or bonus in 5 years - even though the company seems to be doing fine, and I've churned out a bunch of work...so yes, I've been considering it.

when are you leaving? heck - you could probably do the whole thing down there, it'll cost more if you do... you could do all classwork and pool sessions in as little as a weekend in DFW - if you had the time.

do all your scuba classwork and pool work in DFW - do the checkout dives in Cozumel. It's almost wasted to go there and just snorkel. That'd be like going to the Daytona Freeride and getting in the water with a boogeyboard.

there's not many places on the seawall to launch. There is a ramp at about 27th street where you can back down and drop your ski on the beach. this spot is just west of the "Pleasure Pier" - and is also a favorite break for surfers. otherwise your next best bet is down near 7-mile road.
