    Couldn't tell you without the actual vin, USUALLY the last two numbers on the vin plate tell you the year. There is no way way you have a 76' 440 or a 04' 550

    13* is stock on a 440 pump i believe, the cavitation is probably due to the pump having a hard time getting water without air..... Just my .02 There's some footage of my old jonski in this video....

    I vote to hang it in the corner of the garage with some ropes from the ceiling. If you were really cool you'd make a dummy and put an old "slippery when wet" wetsuit complete with gloves,helmet, goggles to make it shred frozen in time......

    As they say "Kawasaki made the jetski, Yamaha perfected it".... Except for those damn soft mid shafts stripping out damn you yamaha! My buddy stripped one on his B1 this weekend.

    I vote grounds, I even put an extra ground from my starter mount holes to the engine block where the ground wire connects.

    I was replacing the toasted bearings and rusty shaft on my 440 driveline then after I was finished and greased up.... WTF! How is this 440 drive shaft a whole 2" shorter than my other 440 shaft. Please explain gurus!

    Need to shim the impeller back closer to the vane section and im switching out the nasty rusted driveshaft now. What to do when your puller doesn't reach the lower bearing.... Gotta do whatcha gotta do!
