Yamaha 701 With High Compression And Tight Squish

I wouldn't run it on 91, I've seen deto on 180psi cranking with 93. Can you just go somewhere to get some av gas to mix 50/50?

    Electric 300sx build!

Usually with an electric motor it is constant torque from 0 rpm until base speed, which is where max power occurs since power is just the product of torque and rotational speed. After that you can weaken the magnetic field in the motor to achieve higher rpm, torque drops at this point but power...

seadoo 787 for freeestyle 300sx build

Might be tough to find apples to apples data on that, from what I could find the 787 is 82lbs without carbs or exhaust manifold, 701 short block closer to 60lbs I think. For that weight difference you could go with a big bore 66e if that guy ever makes those exhaust manifolds... 787 makes 110hp...

seadoo 787 for freeestyle 300sx build

I think the seadoo motors are a little more built toward top end, and heavier, and have weird driveshaft couplings lol, there was a guy that crammed a 951 in a 300sx here somewhere, did a lot of cool stuff, removed counterbalancer to reduce rotating mass etc I don’t remember seeing a video of it...

    Water Tube

Any local metal supply should also have stainless tubing for 1/2 the price of McMaster if you have one nearby, also there was just a thread about using pex with success

    Gp 1300r

Isn't this ski fuel injected? I don't actually know but I would expect it to be a 12v coil controlled by the ecu at that point, where it would be 12v for the dwell time needed by the coil, ballpark like 4ms based on other coils in similar situations, then collapse to ground to fire the coil. so...

    Cheapest "good enough" TIG welder?

Still have not ran one myself but keep hearing good reviews on the AHP alpha tig. My buddy with one tells me he actually prefers it over his miller dynasty

Cracked engine. What are my options?

But yeah I’m with wfo, I would bet piston skirt cracked off, and crank punched it into case, and usually when piston makes it to bottom end you’ll need a crank too. If that’s the case there’s not a lot left you won’t need to replace

Cracked engine. What are my options?

Aren’t all bottom cases the same, 650-760? I would think just grab a cheap 650 bottom case instead of bothering to repair that one

1/2 Colored hose, where to find?

I can confirm using the 1/16” wall is indeed a bad idea. I tried it and 5 min after leaving the dock I was limping it back with more than one line melted off

    E85 in a 2 stroke.

I ran special e85 stabilizer from Lucas when I used e85 for a turbo yz450 project, it was in a normal vented tank and It worked fine. One thing people told me and I never found out if it was true because we just had a 55gal drum of it, was that you kind of have to buy it that way as a race fuel...

    66E Conversion

I rode it in the rickter for a grand total of about 10 min. Started way to rich on the jetting, leaned it out on the trailer before ever hitting water, hit the water for a couple min was still too rich took it home and rejetted, took it out again putting around not going too crazy to break it...
