Yes launch at a boat ramp that is 3 miles north of the campground. Launching from the campground with a beach cart is impossible as there are roughly 100 stairs between the campground and the beach. Trust me, bringing fuel up and down the stairs is already enough of a PITA!

So I just picked up a 91 SJ and the previous owner replaced the hood seal with a Watcon hood seal. I’ve used them in the past as well and I’m not saying they are bad. The thing is, now the hoodlatch isn’t even tight on the hood after I latch it. I can tell it’s not engaging on the hood itself...

There are no waves that hit the beach in the winter....... the water freezes. The no beach is due to high water in the summer.
