Yes but does Parker have Arizona gas station? Because Blythe is Cali so I can probably save a ton of money by getting gas in Parker if there's a gas station. I learned this last year when I went from Vegas to Havasu and stupidly got gas on the cali side and paid something like a dollar extra...
Hey do you ever make it down to Phoenix? Or Brenda(lol...whatever the hell that town is). I should be driving through on the 15th and wouldnt mind picking up a carrier. My path is LA to TX via Phoenix.
Thanks man. Got really stressed out and my issues was I couldn't screw(no outlets in parking garage) and I only had 1" nails for the plywood. Also my vehicle shipped Monday so I was at wit's end...
Luckily, the moving company saw I had built a nice base and they watched me lift up the jetski...
So I have the base done very well but i couldnt build the box. Basically teh 2x2s act very flimsy and i cannot use small nails to "tack them in place" to then nail on the plywood and add rigidity. Stress level is shooting through the roof but I will try to think...and give it another try i hope
I feel like it's all Matson and Horizon now. I think Matson even bought out all the Alaska shipping.. I'm going to have to rent a u-haul for 2 days to get the jet ski to shipping yard. Stressful poop...about 2 days to work hard.
Gotcha, I'm using "compositeboard?", that poop you could beat the corners to pieces if you got angry enough. Couldn't find plywood for sale on the island that wasn't 1/2" and heavy. I still think it will be good just for me the frame has a tiny bit of importance. I will spraypaint "Fragile...
Badass! Thank you, my subframe is similiar. How did you attach the 2x2 to the 2x4 at the bottom? Did you angle screws/nails in? Just FYI, you're the only large size homebuilt crate plans online so it's nice you posted them. Very helpful for me.
Uggh I wish. That would add 24 cubic feet and in Hawaii every cubic foot is worth it's dimensions in gold.
The hardest part right now is me planning on how to get palleted jet ski to the shipping yard. Unfortunately everything is harder when living in an apartment. I regret bringing a ski to...
problem with pallets is i dont wanna rip them so that they are only 32 inches wide. I just measured my WDK Rok-R and dimensions for crate will be 32INx32INx7FT. I'm about to built crate today so I will draw something up and post here for hopefully any advice.
Just wanted to add to my pic above of my nice rainy back yard. 80 miles away they got 6 inches of rain in a day. Here's some pics..
Luckily that's not my view.
There's a lot to it but I'll try to be quick..
My company didn't really challenge me and i worked too many hours so I didn't get to enjoy Hawaii...which is super expensive and has huge culture issues (island time = people are lazy). So I am out of my job 2 months ago, am from Juneau AK, came...
