Carb jetting issues SXI Pro? Carb size?

I reluctantly say I do not have a pop off pressure gauge but looks like I need to buy one.. Off hand I can't remember if there was any gas dribbling down the throat but I think there was but will double check to make sure.. It does look modified but in my searches I see that blowsion sells what...

Carb jetting issues SXI Pro? Carb size?

Stock engine.. Just purchased a stock used one out of a zxi because the motor I had in it was over ported and pretty much ruined by the guy before me.. Has v force3 reeds, factory pipe and this carb which is all that is done with motor modifications... And as well as playing around with the carb...

Carb jetting issues SXI Pro? Carb size?

Out of the water it runs perfect and crisp with almost perfect throttle response. In the water is a different story.. Mid to top end is great.. Bottom end is my main problem now.. From idle to 1/4 throttle in the water it pretty much falls on it face and does not want to pull out of the water...

I currently have a 1998 Kawasaki 750sxi pro that I bought used and really hasn't been running correct since I got it.. So here what the skis has for aftermarket parts and what I've come across since trying to tune it.. 750 big pin motor to start, factory wet pipe, V-force 3 reeds and what at the...

    Sbn 44 and fpp jetting

Yes I bought it with he single on it already but have the stock duels if I decided to switch back. I was told besides the single being easier to tune that it does provide better performance when being jetted properly... How is he pop off pressure adjusted? Is that the spring inside the carb that...

    sxi pro backfiring

Check your flywheel. I bought a 750sxi pro and was backfiring also and checked the flywheel to find out it had an aftermarket vilder flywheel which has a differnt timing that stock which wouldn't work with the stock ignition setup.. I put a stock flywheel on and fixed the problem Sent from my...

750sxi pro will not run properly

Well one more thing about the flow control valve. Is this something that is made for jet skis or a house plumbing part made to work because I just did a quick search for a valve and haven't seen anything that pertain directly to pecs. Thanks

750sxi pro will not run properly

Well I just checked the compression again and only have 125psi in both cylinders. Is that not enough to run to its full potential and give me the problems that it has? Is it a good idea to leave that milled head on or should I get a legit aftermarket head or just stay with a stocker

The stock head was decked and milled out for o rings. Do you need both orings and head gasket?

750sxi pro will not run properly

Yea the ski ran the same with the 165 and 155 main jets in it.. And if it is the head u think it is does that mean i should jet a different one? And the kid I got it from said it had an aftermarket ignition and I haven't taken it apart yet to see but it does have the vilder flywheel in it which...

750sxi pro will not run properly

What I meant blip was jus grab the throttle to wide open and let go so maybe a half second.. When I grab and hold wide open for 3 seconds it boggs and breaks up.. It doesn't die. It almost feels as is the choke was stuck.. Not sure of the needle and seat size

750sxi pro will not run properly

Magyar68 it fires right up no problem and idles forever.. From idle to about half throttle it runs fine whether its just a quick blip or holdin it at half throttle.. When I hold it wide open it breaks up and pops once in a while.. It seems to sounds fine when I just blip throttle from idle to...
