750sxi pro will not run properly

First off any input would be greatly appreciated because Im pretty much stumped at this point. But here is the problem..
I have a 1998 750sxi pro with a factory pipe that has 3 pisser settings(not sure if that's the dry or wet pipe). I have the top 2 closed as the third open 1/4 turn. It has a decked as milled head. It has a single mikuni 44 mm carb and dual V-Force 3 reeds. It has a vilder racing flywheel and I haven't taken the ignition apart to see if it has the matching ignition as well.. It has an aftermarket prop and intake too.
The ski has good compression and fires right up. When I hold the throttle wide open it breaks up and will not rev up wide open neither on the water or just hooked up to a hose. When I rode it on the water it wouldnt go past half throttle and didn't really have the snap out of the water that it should..
The things I have checked/replaced are as follows:
Rebuilt carb and changed main jet from 165 to 155 due to after riding I removed the plugs to find them wet with gas as if it was unburned fuel.
Changed the plugs with it calls for (br7es maybe)
Took off the flywheel to make sure the woodruff key wasn't sheared off in which it wasn't .
Took the head off and changed the o-rings and re siliconed the head with non full cure silicon.
Replaced the exhaust gaskets.
Replaced all Intake gaskets.

At first I thought it was running
To rich so I changed the main jet and it ran worse with the 155 in it so I went back to the 165 and as guessed still runs like poop.. The reeds are brand new so its not that..
I hope someone can point me in the right direction so I can get this thing goin before the summer is over.. Any help is greatly appreciated and thank I in advance for your time in reading my post.
 
Do u mean the adjustments on the outside of the carb? If so I have been adjusting both of them while it was running

Much difference..
I was told if u have out more than one turn then ya have the wrong jetting but I've tried a 165 and 155 main and still runs funny and didn't wanna pull the carb off for the 100th time before I know what needs to be in there.
 
Na you should start at one turn out as a starting point more than two turns out you need to change your jets can you post a couple pice of you engine bay

I just picked this ski up a few moths ago and hasn't ran correct since I got it. The kid I got it from said it needs to be jetted but that's what they all say.
 
I am runnin 60:1 amsoil intimidator with full fresh tank of 93.. I have an old compression tester that I don't even know if its accurate and each cylinder had 135psi with that thing but in the process of locating a new one
 
60-1 seems lean I run 40-1 and 93 with br8 plugs 60-1 means 60 particles of gas to 1 particle of oil and 135 with a milled head is low should be 165+ How many hours on the top end
 
Yea I understand the gas but read that the amsoil is such a high grade oil that u can get away running leaner but hey I'm gonna give 40:1 a shot and see what happens.. I'm not sure on the hours, when I has the head off it looked pretty good in there with no carbon build up and cylinders have no wear what so ever.. I'm going to find another compression tester and go from there I guess and if it checks out try some fresh gas.. Thanks
 
Yea your running way to lean there should be wash on the pistons ( carbon build up ) as for the compression definitely get a good tester. Let me know what happens but I wouldn't run anything less then 45-1 but that just me is I'd rather foul a plug then blow the top end
 
Ok ill def give that a shot.. I've only Burned maybe a gallon on gas in the ski on 60:1 since I've had it since I haven't really ridden it yet but I'm willin to try anything to get the thing going. Thanks again and ill update as soon as a get a new compression tester

What happens when you are at Idle and you go to full throttle with out feathering. Does it die, or does it BOOG?
How big is the LOW jet?
 
Magyar68 it fires right up no problem and idles forever.. From idle to about half throttle it runs fine whether its just a quick blip or holdin it at half throttle.. When I hold it wide open it breaks up and pops once in a while.. It seems to sounds fine when I just blip throttle from idle to ride open too hence why I'm puzzled
 
What I meant blip was jus grab the throttle to wide open and let go so maybe a half second.. When I grab and hold wide open for 3 seconds it boggs and breaks up.. It doesn't die. It almost feels as is the choke was stuck.. Not sure of the needle and seat size
