Check your flywheel. I bought a 750sxi pro and was backfiring also and checked the flywheel to find out it had an aftermarket vilder flywheel which has a differnt timing that stock which wouldn't work with the stock ignition setup.. I put a stock flywheel on and fixed the problem

I have a similar set up on my 750sxi pro and am also having similar issues.. I have a 155 main and 122.5 pilot and get hesitation off the bottom then rips pretty good after that.... I'm not positive on the size of my carb but was told to try 117.5 pilot and see what happens

Well one more thing about the flow control valve. Is this something that is made for jet skis or a house plumbing part made to work because I just did a quick search for a valve and haven't seen anything that pertain directly to pecs. Thanks

What I meant blip was jus grab the throttle to wide open and let go so maybe a half second.. When I grab and hold wide open for 3 seconds it boggs and breaks up.. It doesn't die. It almost feels as is the choke was stuck.. Not sure of the needle and seat size
