Best bang for your buck is a YT or Commencal if you dont have a LBS to support..with trek and specialized you pay allot for the brand..A used bike is the way to go though if you are on a budget
The fx1 uses a second latch that hooks into the pole bracket instead of hood hooks. It’s different than the latch on the dash..Cold fusion makes a fixed hook that replaces the latch. That’s why stock SuperJet pole bracket has that hook that you don’t use on the SuperJet
More fun..stripping paint off pole bracket and pole ends to repaint..just going to rattlecan everything including the hull. Used appliance epoxy on my hood and it’s held up decent. My choices for painting are a dusty barn, a wood shop or outside so I’m not going to waste the time or $ to paint...
Gas station oil for me. Always ran shell nautilus but they don’t have it anymore so been running penzoil latley. Got hundreds of gallons out of my old motors and the only reason my last one finally let go was a runaway out of the water which was operator error

On my sons ski...

I asked this in a separate thread but didn’t get an answer. I’ll ask again while this is at the top..anybody ran dual cooling on a stock pipe? Would do it for clogging purposes..my sons 550 with single cooling has already clogged once. Where we ride there’s lots of kelp and when the waves are...
Waves are small so took the weekend off riding and got some work done..tubbie reshape roughed in..one side of engine compartment reinforced..repairing some air bubbles on underside of the wide rails..going to have to fill and put down another layer unfortunately..pain in the ass especially...
Has anyone found an alternative to oem ebox screws? I have the largest assortment of screwdrivers known to man and I only have one that fits halfway decent. Would prefer a cap head screw if it was available..there’s a hardware supply place in town that has everything but they don’t have anything...
