I know an xs 900rr can do it. A 900 comp motor is the smallest cc motor that will probably do it. A ss tpe 964 can do it to. But hull choice will be the most important.

It's a tough call. For me the performance gained by the better trim system is worth the sacrifice of getting the ski going, I'm Used to it so it doesn't really bother me. I personally prefer xs stuff but maybe look into the p and p trim. I think that nozzle is straight or 2 degrees? I'm not sure...
I'm currently running the new xs trim with the 5 degree nozzle. It rides a little nose high right when you get going but it's manageable. I have a medium length ride plate I'm going to try out because I do like the way they ride with a straight nozzle better.
