38's are to small for 701's in my opinion. Yea they might run decent but 44's work great on anything less than 900cc. They do dump a tad bit more fuel than 38's but they still are not bad compared to larger carbs. I love they way 44's tune and hit on small motors. Get 44's!!

Cheap hull, and 650 SN for all the bulk and miscellaneous parts then sell that motor and buy a decent 701/760 based motor with bpipe and stock pump with solas 13/17. Oh and buy a pole. Or if you would rather just buy a rtr Bob.

13/18 swirls are awesome. Don't get the 9-17 its a joke. The so called hit from the 9-15 or 9-17 is your spinning the prop.

Sell your hull for 3k and buy a Rokr or Backie chan for 4k. Personally I wouldn't buy a xfs. They are expensive and seem harder to flip and spin than most other hulls that are cheaper. Fit and finish or a rickter is nice, well so is a Rokr and Backie

Focus less on exhaust port timing and focus on transfer angles. The reason 760 cylinders and 62t cylinders don't "hit as hard" mostly has to do with transfer port angles. The angle of theses cylinders decreases "bottom end" because of the scavenging levels. Have a real builder that actually...
