Who has powder coated their B pipes and did it hold up well? I can get mine done for free so I wanted to know if it was worth it or will it just flake off.

You can but with the 5200 on the screw thread it should not leak, the hull is very thick there. If you do the backing plates just make sure to secure them and cap off so they will not leak.
5200 it in. Tape around the pump shoe so not to make a mess of the tunnel and smooth it out, then peel away the tape. As far as alum tabs are not needed just run 4 stainless screws in to hold it ( make sure it is fully seated with a rubber mallet) . It will not budge once set.

I think the bond rail will be up to the buyer to remove, we are contemplating a primer version so guys can do their own paint n body mods if they choose.
The 635 epoxy works great, medium hardener to give you work time. Look at the 17oz stitched biax fiberglass. It conforms very well to the contours when wet out properly and doesn't fray all over or pull easily like a woven. You will not ave to do as many layers with that weight either. Prep work...
