Yeah i read thru all of yours, Thats why i was worried about doing mine the correct way. All my buddies with AM hulls have just done what most people do LOL, i was the first to do it this way. I was relieved that it ended up being as easy as it was.
Man some of you guys have it rough. I just did mine in michigan a couple of weeks ago. All i had to have was a bill of sale and they pulled out a form and i filled it out. The title and the registration say WDK Rok on them. no inspections or anything. Gave me my new hull# and registration right...
After reading a couple different threads i though it might be kind of cool to see how far some of you have driven to pick up a ski, hull or even motor.
Hell maybe you drove some where really far for just a weekend of riding?
I drove from Mich to Indiana to pick up my RN superjet, not really...
It was a great time for sure, wish i would have manned up and rode more and harder, i could have been in some sweet pics lol. but i suck and im weak haha
Yep don't be afraid of a drive to go get what you want. I got screwed around by a shipping company and decided to just go get mine myself. Drove from Michigan to tampa florida to go pick up my ROK.
Yeah that's what i planned on doing, still running it kind of tight with a spring. I just cant get used to having to yank up on the pole all the time LOL. Im already out of shape and with this new ski and pole setup im tired after a 10min ride lol.
Thanks for the suggestions anyone have any...
I have a cast RRP pole and a Xmetal bracket, right now it is running the pinched setup and extremely tight, I just cant get used to it. So i want to loosen it up and add a pole spring.
What spring should i buy and do i need to do anything else when installing it? I know its kind of a odd setup...
Yeah I understand that. But i think it will be okay for right now. Ill end up buying a new hose soon. But money is getting short after buying everything thing I have so far and making the trip to florida to get it lol.
That would be awesome if you do. Let me know and I will come get it ASAP. In my research that is what I have seen is a lot of guys used the SN cables. Both steering and throttle. What one do you think you have?
That is exactly what I was thinking of doing. Thanks for the confirmation.
I've got a Rok that I'm putting together. Pretty much taking everything I can out of my RN. Well I got to the cables and both the throttle and steering are both to short. I'm running a full length RRP pole and a quick turn plate that is stock length.
I'm trying to figure out what cables are...
