Anyone have any advise about what to do with my timing? Because the arrow on the case side is broken off I don't have anything to match the mark on my stator to. Anyone know what could have broken those tabs around my stator?

Took a few min and got the winch posts to work. When I tried to move the bow stops down the first time they wouldn't go low enough. After looking at it for a second I noticed some reflectors were in the way. Knocked the corners off and they fit, just need a few new winch straps.

I think they are stock carbs, and yes I looked over all my exhaust after that.

What do you mean modified on the intake side?

Well the winch posts that came with the trailer don't fit the skis very well, I could make them work but they also do not fit on the trailer with the box and gas rack. I was hoping to use that stuff to keep my bed clear in the truck. I will play with the winch posts again and see if i can save...

Here is a closer picture. Pictures iv seen have a tab with an arrow pointing to the groove. my tab seems to be broken off. They came in the same engine but I don't know the history at all. Can anyone tell me what flywheel this is or how to identify the stator and flywheel?

No I didn't, i was scared it would damage my brand new exhaust or blow the older crank seals. My buddy told me I should have tried a few more times before pulling everything apart. Kinda wish I did.

I should have checked some of this stuff before i put it in the hull but live and learn.

carbs were a little dirty but seemed ok, going to rebuild them. they had 150 main jets, 130 pilots, and 95g springs.

I pulled the carbs because I hadn't opened them yet, and found these reeds, not sure how to tell if they are good or what kind they are.

i checked plugs, pulled open e box and checked wires, the cdi came from my buddies running roc.

Scared the crap out of me. So far i have pulled the flywheel and the key was fine. I have never looked at a stator before but it seemed ok, can't fine the mark in the cases that it is supposed to match up to though.
