Flat water friday is the only reason I went to Daytona last year. I was in the market for a new hull, and Daytona was the perfect place to try a bunch of different hulls. I got to try a KDX, Footrocket, Rickters, Vision, and a Backie Chan. I was surprised there were no BOB's there to demo!

Haha true. The trim is installed. The trim cable is sealed and installed as well as all the rest of the cables. The water box has been final test mounted and we've added padding behind the water box to ensure the water box doesn't move.

Shiny new carbs. A little surprised that DASA puts zero exterior markings on the carb (sticker etc) to show that it's a DASA carb. This will look nice mounted to the PHP intake manifold bolted up to the TPE 964!

The visual carbon looks awesome! There's definitely still some kevlar in certain spots, but it looks like there's more carbon than kevlar compared to some of his earlier hulls.

I'll be using Hydroturf Lifter Wedges cut up as my shock pad. Phil recommended the Hydroturf lifter wedges for my shock pad. After comparing the shock pad on his KDX and his Superfreak, I agree with him. :)

Yeah I'm at 13.5 weeks but with no real extras ordered on my end. He's done an ok job keeping me in the loop, but only if I bugged him... My only real gripe is the unrealistic time frames he gave when I ordered, and constantly saying he was nearly done for the last 1.5 months... On the upside...

Man you get what you pay for (and this is coming from someone who is known for being notoriously thrifty)... Buy it right the first time so you don't have to "save money" by buying the same stupid thing over and over again at a "cheaper" price.
