12/17 big hub swirl worked well in my 144 stock pump and 61x/62t setup. As mentioned above, hooker props seem to load up a lot on bottom.

What I did on my SJ was: 1. slide pump/shaft in 2. slide midshaft on to driveshaft 3. move pump up/down until holes on midshaft lined up with holes on bulkhead. insert shims and snug pump bolts. 4. check hole alignment on midshaft again. if all looks good bolt midshaft in. Everyone has their...

Not all bulkheads will be dead on. Bolt the Midshaft in first

Do you need a yamah coil or kawi style Midshaft end coupler?

Thank you to all those who came out. It was great to see some new faces. There were a lot of a/m hulls there. Hopefully next year the ride can keep growing. I will work on a boat double up for next year.

You should be running ATP Flame TS or MSD TL. Why have all the goodies and a "safe" ignition? That's a big pump to turn. TL and race gas domes are prob what you need.

What CDI are you running?
