Made it to Clay Banks this past weekend to check on the beach situation. I was a little worried because Lake Michigan water levels are higher than they were last year. But to my surprise the beach looks to be in much better shape than last year!!

Done. Can't wait!!!

Did the raffle raise any money for the local community this year?

Launch was great, easy getting out to the big lake. Not much of a beach at the campground. Might be a little sketchy leaving your skis on the beach if the waves are kicking. There's a few good spots though if you head south from the stairs a hundred yards or so.

Went out riding Tuesday night in Lake Michigan, 4-5 footers. Not even 5 minutes into the ride my left foot got caught up in my foot holds and rolled. X-rays showed no break (although they said at some point in my life I did break my foot because I had bone fragments floating around.......did...

I got room for 1 or 2 tents on my sites. Had 2 from my group not come. Sites 55 and 57. Brian.

Our convoy is ready for departure!!! I think i'm gonna ride da pink couch this weekend:D

Our crew will be there around noon Thursday...........Can't wait!!

They need to put a grate on the inside of that hood....................take it off, flip it upside down and you got yourself a charcoal grill for the beach!!!!

Anybody have any contacts with FFF (Free Form Factory)? They will be in Grand Rapids this week at the Mastercraft Throwdown displaying their prototype hulls. They should bring a couple up to Wave Rave on Saturday.

These guys should bring their hulls up to Wave Rave on August 8th!! Only 1.5 hours from Grand Rapids.

I hope it does but forecast is looking very similar to last year. Cool and no waves. Hopefully the water doesn't flip!!!!

Hopefully campground is booked with mostly jetskiiers!

Not much of a beach again this year. Launch is in nice shape, should be easy getting out of the river. Water temps are in the low 60's which is on par with last year, water flipped right before wave rave last year. Hopefully that does not happen again this year.

My wife and I are heading up Thursday to have lunch and check it out. I will report my findings. I'm expecting that there will be even less beach than last year. Water levels are noticeably higher than last year in my opinion.

Still at 10%, but a little closer to 11 now!

I am positive that my hood seal is good. The ski does run like it is ingesting water, runs really strong. The motor is new, only 2 tanks of gas thru it so far and I'm running a richer oil to gas mix than normal. Maybe that is causing it to froth more?

I'm running Castor Maxima 927. I usually run quicksilver but had a gallon of Castor sitting on the shelf. It will be interesting to see if switching back fixes this...........
