Thanks. I was curious about what your process was. I have made rough templates with paper in the past and then transfer and cut the turf larger than the template and trim as necessary I figured it would be a pain to get the tape off for a transfer
When I have done hull reinforcements in the past. I lay out sheets of aluminum foil on a flat surface and wet out the cloth first .then right before I lay the cloth in place I put a thin layer of epoxy on the hull . Lay the cloth in place and work out the bubbles with a chip brush Hope...
I spent more time on this hull last weekend The more I ride it the more I like it. So stable and I can't get over how quick it turns. It was the only ski on the beach out of 5 to not have a wrench on it . Only lifted the hood to fill the gas. Hope to get some more time on it this weekend .
I think carpeted bunks made from 2x4's is the best way not to scratch the bottom of a hull..
I have tried putting stock sj bumpers on the tops of 2x4 s and that works pretty well skis slide nicely with those. till you have a screw back out on you.
Composite 2x 4 or 6 work as well

This hull was awesome super light feeling really wanted to pop out of the water , Handeling was great .turned on a dime . You could easily whip around to catch your setup wave .Stable at high speeds . I tried a few Wot runs to try to get some wobble .. Very solid...
