Got it all sorted. They were able to send me a picture of the ski with measurements.

They did tell me over the phone that they go flush with the bottom for part of the tubbie. They also are the screw on type.

I just picked up some blowsion tubbies II for my fx1 and was wondering where they normally get mounted (measurements). I called blowsion and they didn't have any measurements and haven't gotten any emails from them of pictures that I asked for. Any help would be appreciated.

A 144 shoe would need glass work done to the ski to make it fit. It wasn't a true 144 diameter but really close with the 122 shoe bored.

Fx1 stock driveshaft is what you use in this build.

I'd also advise against any 2 tone diamonds or squares. Like the first picture. It's super common to have the colors start coming apart after 2-3 rides.

Yes the best mod you can do to a fx1. Way different than stock.

Yes I lower the exhaust tube. The steering cable is in the stock grey plastic tube that's in a slightly s shaped under the exhaust tube. The cord griped is for the trim and is in a separate plastic tube on the non exhaust side. The cord gripper is water proof.

4-5 layers of 12oz biax. It's plenty where my feet go but I would consider putting a brace in the center if I did it all over.

I have a build tread going on it. I need to update it since I've got the deck finished. It helps to have your feet farther apart for control in surf.
