Yeah I was looking at the ADA, but they are pretty much the same as stock. I want to find a set meant for another application but has a longer nose. I will try moving the motor back and see how much gap it takes up.

Just try buffing first, and if the chalkyness doesn't come out, then wetsand and buff like @ryan0 said. You won't even notice the spidering.
You can use Marinetex for the chips and gouges in the white. Nice Find!

I welded it up, but I'm pretty sure I'm done with dry pipes. The metal had a lot of surprises, so it was hard to get a clean weld.

My first complaint and it's a good one!
1: Anything to do with SXR Dry Pipe removal. (Had to change leaky orings)
2. Find out the pipe is cracked
3. Try to remove prop from pump and sheared the pump shaft!
This all happened on the same night. How could the pipe Crack with all that...
Depends how complete it is, and if there are repairs. With manifold, coupler, orings, and mounts, I wouldn't let that go for under 400.

Spray brake cleaner around the intake/ crankcase under idle, and listen for an rpm increase. Spray in small amounts, and dont let it go in the intake.
