Understood. Is there common places to find these skis in the states or is it pretty much gotta pay to ship them here. Sorry for the questions but I've had the x2 for a long time and always been a fan but I guess the time is coming to expand my horizons. Ha

Ok I know about the hydro space and what not...I guess what I meant was a factory ski such as yamaha or Kawasaki. Seeing as how the 2 stroke ban has been coming it seems they would have done it if they are putting them in the bigger skis. I know a brand new ski either was is pricey but aren't...

So basically what this boils down to is if u don't have a ton of money to dump into a ski it's not gonna happen. At least for a reasonable cost. Why hasn't anyone came out with a factory 4 stroke stand up? Just curious.

Think there would be anyway to put the sea doo xp motor in an x2 or would it be to limited on space?

Was just at Powell this past week and it came to reality that the lake is no longer allowing 2 stroke pwc. I don't want to ditch the x2 but what motor options do I have if any to go to a four stroke motor. Or is this just not a realistic goal? Any info on things you have seen or recommendations...

Tried to clean the damn thing but it was stored by the beach and the carb was a little beyond repair and cleaning. Some adjustments were snapped off. Haha

Thanks for the advice guys. Ended up getting a new carb and fuel pump and haven't had any more problems.

Haha yes I made sure to adjust that first. As far as the pulse line I am not 100% sure about. Best way of checking that?

i have a 1990 x2 thats all stock and it runs great but wont idle at all. the fuel pump is good but was thinking might be the carb? since its running when i hold the throttle open but will only idle for a short period of time then when i restart it i have to prime everytime. any other...

Do u have the nozzle tilt and the gas on/off knob? If so are u able to do paypal?
